The Gold Coast is about 45 miles/70 km south of Brisbane. A very popular tourist destination, not only by Aussies and New Zealanders but from tourists and visitors worldwide. And no wonder. A series of glorious white sand beaches stretching 26 miles/42 km from the New South Wales coast.
