The Sunshine coast (about a 1 hours drive north of Brisbane)

The Sunshine Coast is a golfer's paradise, offering challenges to players of all abilities. From par 3 courses for not-so-serious golfers to championship courses, there's something for every player. You can tee off at the Greg Norman-designed layout at Pelican Waters at Caloundra or test your skills on the courses at Twin Waters, Hyatt Regency Coolum and Noosa Springs.

The Sunshine Coast has always been well served with many strong traditional member golf clubs, however, in recent years they have been joined by international standard resort courses, some designed by such notaries as, the Great White Shark, Greg Norman.

These courses also bring with them luxury accommodation and first-class facilities for guests. One of the many ways to relax after a day on the greens is indulging in a luxury spa treatment to nurture and pamper the senses.

Keen golfers are spoilt for choice when it comes to courses on the Sunshine Coast, if you want something a little more laid back than the resort courses, there are numerous regional courses scattered around the coast as well as Par Three courses and driving ranges. If you want to try something a little different, you can experience Australia's only organically certified course!
