Brisbane Tours City Tour
Brisbane City: Travel past the sandstone buildings of the GPO and Macarthur House. See the Anzac memorial and Shrine of Remembrance. Visit Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary (entry included) - home to over 120 koalas.
Lone Pine is set on 50 acres of riverside land. You can "Cuddle a Koala" and have your photo taken (optional own expense). You can also hand feed kangaroos and emus and see other unique wildlife including Tasmanian Devils, wombats, dingoes, reptiles and more.
Finish the afternoon with a spectacular view from Mt Coot-tha Lookout, only 8 kilometres from the centre of the city. On a clear day you can see as far as the Glasshouse Mountains and Moreton and Stradbroke Islands.
 


Ettamogah Pub: Welcome to the most photographed Pub in the world!  The Ettamogah Pub is more than just a quirky shaped building on the side of the Bruce Highway.  It has an interesting history and a bar and grill upstairs called Bluey's that serves up huge delicious Aussie meals.  There's no better place on the Sunshine Coast to relax, kick back and enjoy yourself. 
Bluey's Bar & Grill is located upstairs in the Ettamogah Pub and can seat up to 60 people.  Specialising in the use of local produce and including a select range of beer and wine the menu changes with each season.
 

Australian Zoo by Zoo Express
Australia Zoo is very popular tourist destination. Australian Day Tours operate seven days a week. The Croc Express is a fantastic way to get to Australia Zoo from the Gold Coast or Brisbane (pick up from all the major hotels). This friendly service allows you to relax in air-conditioned comfort while learning about all the sights along the way. The tour departs Brisbane Transit Centre (Roma Street) in Brisbane at approximately 8:45am. The bus arrives at Australia Zoo around 10.15am in time for all the wildlife action. The day is then yours to spend exploring the Zoo at your leisure, before departing at 4.30pm. The Australia Zoo is located a Beerwah, about a 1.5 hr drive north from Brisbane

Beyond the City The Gold & Sunshine Coasts

Just an hour's drive south is the Gold Coast - a series of beaches, stretching 26 miles/42 km north from the New South Wales/Queensland border through Coolangatta, Palm Beach, Broadbeach and Surfers Paradise to Southport. Go for a leisurely boat cruise along the canals of Surfers Paradise, enjoy shopping in world-class arcades and shopping complexes, have a swim in the deep blue waters of the Pacific Ocean or simply relax under a beach umbrella on the magnificent white sand. The Gold Coast offers great family entertainment.
Visit Dreamworld, Warner Bros. Movieworld, Sea World or Wet 'N Wild Water Park. At night, try your luck at Jupitors Casino at Broadbeach. The hinterland offers caves, gorges, waterfalls, the subtropical rainforests of Lamington National Park and the Tamborine Mountain. The Sunshine Coast - home of the Australia Zoo

Just an hour's drive north of Brisbane is the Sunshine Coast, a chain of sandy beaches beginning at Caloundra and including the towns of Noosa Heads, Maroochydore, Moolooaba and the Glasshouse Mountains and Blackall Range hinterlands.
Visit the Big Pineapple, the Ginger Factory and Underwater World. Further north is Hervey Bay, a prime whale watching area and Fraser Island, a world heritage-listed area known for its mile long beaches, lakes and wilderness. Whitsundays

An area of great beauty is the Whitsundays featuring 74 islands just north of Mackay, offering superb boating and coral viewing. Accommodation ranges from luxury hotels and resorts to campsites.
