Brown Brothers Winery in Milawa
A wine tasting session and a luncheon at the Brown Brothers Epicurean Centre
can be arranged. Choose your wine and have it served at your luncheon. Later
this afternoon, transfer to the Mt Buffalo Chalet, one of Victoria's premium
snow/spring resorts in the nearby Victorian Alps that are only about 48
miles/78 km from Brown Brothers.

Rutherglen
wine region
Rutherglen is a distinctive viticultural region with a continuous family
winemaking history of over 140 years. It is quite small, a golden triangle immediately
surrounding the historic Rutherglen township. These early beginnings
established a pioneering spirit that is evident today in the generations of
winemaking families. A wine tasting session and a luncheon is arranged.
Ned Kelly's
World
Visit Ned Kelly's World. Ned Kelly was and still is in death, Australia's most famous bushranger who
was captured after the notorious Police seige of Glenrowan. At 10.00 am on
November 11th 1880, Ned Kelly was hanged in the Old Melbourne Goal,
whereupon he became an Australian Legend, and his name gained immortality.
Echuca - Moama,
a historic Murray River Port and the paddlesteamer capital of Australia.
Rich River Golf Club Resort
A fine wine of your choice and dinner can be arranged. Play the "pokies"
(slot machines). This region sports three 36 hole golf course complexes, all
with licenced poker
machine (slots) clubs: Rich River, Cobram Barooga and Tocumwal. Go to Murray River to see golf courses in this region.
Murray
River paddlesteamer cruise
Visit the restored Echuca river port where the TV series, "Where Rivers
Run" was filmed. Visit authentic river port shops before your paddle-steamer cruise (genuine steamers burning wood in a furnace).
Sunraysia
Located in northwest Victoria at the junction of the Murray and Darling
Rivers, Australia's biggest river system.
2 - 12 berth Murray River Houseboats are available on the river and can be
moored on the river-bank of the Memorial Golf Club if desired.
Lindemans Karadoc Winery. Chateau Mildura
Tasting sessions and luncheon can be arranged. Choose your wine and have it
corked at your table. Try kangaroo tail soup, Murray River yabbies and freshwater crays.

horticultural irrigation development in Australia. Overnight train, day
